Anthropic Implements Invisible Watermarking for AI Text Generator Claude

Anthropic, an artificial intelligence (AI) research company, has revealed details about its plan to implement invisible watermarks on text generated by Claude, its large language model. The watermarking system is based on the SynthID-Text approach developed by Google DeepMind, which uses word probability patterns to create detectable markers. This move is aimed at complying with the European Union's AI Act, which mandates machine-readable marks for synthetic audio, images, videos, and text.
