Sixteen percent of the global population, over a billion people, live with some form of disability according to the World Health Organization. Three high school students showcased their inventions aimed at helping people with disabilities regain movement, translate thoughts, and navigate rough terrain at the Regeneron's International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF) in May in Phoenix. Their projects earned them this year's IEEE Presidents’ Scholarship awards. The winners include Hollie Tang, Partap Sidhum, and Calvin Shang Hung.
