Sonos Introduces Live Activities Controls for iPhone Lockscreen

Tech company Sonos has released an update to its mobile app, introducing support for iOS' Live Activities. This feature allows iPhone users quick access to playback controls on their lockscreen. The addition is described as a 'much requested, anticipated, and needed feature'. However, some features like displaying album art are not yet available. The Sonos Live Activity provides basic details and controls when listening to music or podcasts through a Sonos system without fully unlocking the iPhone and opening the app.
