TerraMow V1000 Review: Affordable and Effective Robot Lawn Mower

The TerraMow V1000, a robot lawn mower priced at around $1,200, has been impressing homeowners with its ease of use, affordable price, and effective performance. It's currently topping the list of best robot lawn mowers due to its feature-packed design, easy setup, and ability to handle regular, mostly flat lawns under 0.3 acres in size.

The TerraMow V1000 is equipped with a triple camera system and AI for navigation and mapping the lawn. It also comes with a covered charging station, GPS tracking for theft alerts, and supports Wi-Fi and 4G for firmware updates and remote control when away from home.

The mower's setup was found to be the easiest of any robot mower tested, thanks to its automapping feature that successfully mapped lawns without requiring user input. It can handle slopes up to 18 degrees, offers a cutting height of 0.98 to 2.95 inches, and a cutting width of 8 inches.

The TerraMow V1000 mowed lawns in straight lines with neat but narrow stripes and a fairly uniform cut. It navigates well around obstacles such as garden sheds and tall plants, and it can create paths between lawn areas and return to its charging station.

While the app has some messy translation and grammar, it is functionally great. The mower's noise level hovers around 55 decibels in close proximity, and it has rain detection and weather forecast features that help avoid churning up the lawn or working during storms.
